Reading the Quran is one of the most rewarding skills a Muslim can develop. Whether you are an absolute beginner who has never read Arabic, or someone who can read slowly and wants to improve fluency, our Quran reading classes are designed for you.

Our female teacher works 1-on-1 with every student, which means your classes are tailored entirely to your pace, your starting level and your goals. There is no pressure to keep up with a group, you move at the pace that is right for you.

Many of our students are adults who never had the chance to learn Quran reading properly growing up. Others are children just beginning their Quran journey. Whatever your background, our teacher has the experience and patience to guide you from wherever you are today.

What Is a 15-Line Quran?

A 15-line Quran, also known as the 15-line Mushaf or the Madinah Mushaf 15-line edition, is a standard Mushaf layout in which every page contains exactly 15 lines of text. In this printing, each of the 30 Juz begins on a fresh page rather than partway through one, so a reading or memorisation student can track their progress through the Quran page by page and juz by juz in a consistent, predictable way.

This consistency is exactly why beginners and Hifz (memorisation) students so often look for the 15 line Quran by name. When you memorise Quran, you are not only memorising the words themselves, you are also memorising the visual position of each verse on the page: where a line breaks, where a page turns, and where a new Juz begins. A fixed 15-line layout keeps that visual memory reliable every time you open the Mushaf, which is part of why the 15-line Quran remains one of the most widely printed and widely available editions in the world, alongside the 13-line edition.

In our 1-on-1 Quran reading lessons, we teach directly from the 15-line Quran, and your teacher follows along on the exact same page and line layout as you in real time. That means she can immediately identify which word or line you are reading, correct pronunciation as it happens, and help you build the page-by-page familiarity that later makes memorisation noticeably easier, without you ever needing to describe where you are on the page.

It is worth being upfront that the 15-line layout is not the only option. Other respected Mushaf layouts exist too, including 13-line and 16-line editions, and the underlying text does not change between any of these printings, only the page layout does. What matters far more than which specific edition you use is consistent practice and correct pronunciation, so if you already own a different Mushaf at home, you are never made to feel restricted to just one edition.
