This policy explains what information Hidayah Quran Academy collects when you use this website or contact us about Quran lessons, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who we are

Hidayah Quran Academy provides one-to-one online Quran lessons. We teach entirely online over Zoom and WhatsApp and do not operate a physical teaching centre. You can reach us through our contact page or on WhatsApp at +92 305 9637306.

What we collect

  • Information you give us. When you complete the contact form or message us on WhatsApp, we receive your name, your contact details, and whatever you choose to tell us about the student and the lessons you are looking for.
  • Lesson arrangements. If you book a trial or ongoing lessons, we keep the scheduling details needed to run them, such as your preferred timings and time zone.
  • Website analytics. This site uses Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel. These set cookies and record things like the pages you view, roughly where in the world you are, and which site or advert brought you here. They are provided by Google and by Meta, who process that data on their own terms.

Why we use it

We use the details you send us to reply to your enquiry, arrange a free trial lesson and run any lessons you go on to book. We use analytics to understand which pages help families find us so we can improve the site. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone except the service providers named above who help us operate the website and communicate with you.

Children

Many of our students are children. We ask that a parent or guardian makes the enquiry and arranges lessons, and we correspond with the parent or guardian rather than the child.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and lesson records for as long as we are teaching you, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you return. If you ask us to delete your details, we will do so unless we are required to keep something.

Your rights

If you are in the UK or the EU you have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, and to object to how we use it. You can also complain to your data protection regulator. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office.

Cookies

Cookies set by Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel are used for measurement and advertising rather than to make the site work. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using the browser add-on Google provides. Doing so will not affect your lessons.
