Becoming a Hafiz or Hafiza — someone who has memorised the entire Holy Quran — is one of the greatest honours in Islam. The Prophet ﷺ said: ‘The best of you are those who learn the Quran and teach it.’ (Bukhari) Our online Hifz programme makes this blessed journey accessible from wherever you are in the world, guided one-to-one by our qualified female teacher via Zoom, WhatsApp or Google Meet.

A Blessed Journey

What is Hifz?

Hifz (حفظ) means ‘to memorise’ or ‘to protect.’ A student of Hifz memorises the entire Holy Quran — all 30 Juz (paras), 114 Surahs and 6,236 verses — by heart. A person who has achieved this is called a Hafiz (male) or Hafiza (female).

Memorising the Quran is one of the highest virtues in Islam. The Hafiz will be a source of great honour for their family in this world and in the Hereafter, insha'Allah.

The Quran has been preserved through Hifz since the time of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. It is the only book in human history memorised in its original language by millions across every generation and continent.

The Method

Our Hifz Programme Structure

Every student's Hifz journey is unique. Our teacher creates a personalised memorisation plan based on your age, ability, schedule and goals.

Daily Class Structure

1

New lesson (Sabaq)

Memorise a new portion (typically 3–10 lines depending on the student's ability)

2

Recent revision (Sabqi)

Revise the last 7 days' lessons

3

Old revision (Manzil)

Revise older portions to keep them strong

Weekly Assessment

At the end of each week, students recite their full week's new memorisation from start to finish without prompting. This weekly assessment builds confidence, identifies gaps early, and gives both student and teacher a clear picture of progress. Any weak areas are targeted in the following week's sessions.

Personalised Pace

We never rush students. Some students memorise 5 lines per day; others memorise half a page. What matters is quality — that each verse is memorised accurately and with correct Tajweed. Our teacher sets realistic, achievable daily targets that keep students motivated without overwhelming them.

Flexible Goals

Partial Hifz Options

Not everyone has the goal of memorising the entire Quran — and that is completely fine. We offer partial Hifz programmes for students who want to memorise:

Juz Amma (30th Para)

The most commonly recited short Surahs, perfect for children and beginners. Ideal for improving Salah.

Selected Surahs

Many students want to memorise specific Surahs (e.g., Surah Yaseen, Surah Al-Kahf, Surah Al-Mulk, Surah Al-Waqiah)

Last 10–20 Surahs

The most frequently recited Surahs in daily Salah
