Tawakkul is relying completely on Allah while still taking every lawful means available to you. The modern phrase law of detachment describes letting go of the outcome, and the closest Islamic concept is tawakkul joined with rida, contentment with Allah's decree. Tawakkul is trust, not passivity.
The Quran repeatedly says Allah does not love certain behaviours: the aggressors, the corrupters, the arrogant and boastful, the wrongdoers, the treacherous, the wasteful, and the ungrateful disbelievers. These are actions and attitudes, not fixed identities. Anyone can leave them through sincere repentance, and Allah's mercy remains open to all who turn back.
The Quran has a verse for every situation. For hardship, recite that with hardship comes ease (Surah Ash-Sharh 94:5 to 6). For anxiety, hearts find rest in remembering Allah (Ar-Ra'd 13:28). Salatul Hajat is a voluntary (nafl) prayer of two rakat offered when you have a specific need. Make a perfect wudu, pray two rakat with full focus, then praise Allah, send salawat on the Prophet (peace be upon him), and ask Allah for your need with sincerity and certainty.
Surah Al-Baqarah, the longest surah of the Quran, can change your life by filling your home with barakah, driving Shaytan away, and standing as a witness for you on the Day of Judgment. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught that Shaytan flees from a house in which it is recited (Sahih Muslim).
To perform ghusl, make the intention, wash your hands, then wash the private parts with the left hand. Perform a complete wudu, pour water over your head three times while rubbing the scalp, then pour water over the whole body, right side first, ensuring water reaches every part of the skin.
In Islam, pregnancy is a stage Allah Himself shapes in the womb (Quran 39:6). A pregnant woman is encouraged to make sincere dua for a righteous child, stay close to Quran and dhikr, care for her health, and trust Allah. There is no authentic surah that guarantees a specific outcome, so avoid cultural myths.
Joking is not haram in Islam, but a joke becomes haram when it involves one of four things: lying to make people laugh, mocking Allah, the Quran, or the Prophets, humiliating or frightening another person, or indecent and vulgar speech. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) joked with his companions, but he never said anything except the truth.
